Coming Mid-July 2026 Build System Creed
Your entire C++ toolchain, in a couple of binaries.
Overview
Creed is a self-contained C++ build system that bundles everything you need to configure, build, lint, and profile into a couple of binaries — no system-wide installs, no version drift. It ships a CMake-compatible generator, GN, and SCons for configuration, with LLVM and Ninja for builds, so a single download gives you a complete, reproducible C++ toolchain right out of the box.
Key Features
What to expect from Creed at launch.
Everything Included
A CMake-compatible generator, GN, and SCons for configuration plus LLVM and Ninja for builds — all bundled, with nothing to install separately.
Just a Couple of Binaries
The whole toolchain ships as a handful of self-contained binaries you can drop onto any machine for clean, reproducible builds.
Configure, Build, Lint, Profile
One unified CLI covers the full workflow with creed-configure, creed-build, creed-lint, and creed-profile.
Reproducible & Open
A pinned, versioned toolchain means the same inputs produce the same outputs on every machine — developed in the open.
